At the beginning of the 19th Century the Jan Adler inn was established. In the interwar period the lido developed quickly. The most important buildings of the arrangement include the former spa house (Kurhaus), the former Adlershorst inn (Adlerówka) from the first half of the 19th Century, which now houses the Secondary School of Fine Arts. In the historic arrangement you can also find a small house where Stefan Żeromski resided, in 1920, and which now is the seat of the Society of Friends of Orłowo.
Orłowo boasts numerous villas and boarding houses with interesting history and architecture. A few of them have been recognised as historic buildings: the former Adlerówka from the first half of the 19th Century, the former Spa House at 2 Orłowska St., “Weneda” Villa, the “Gryf” Boarding House of 1932, the Mansion and Park Complex in Mały Kack, and the Mansion House in Kolibki.
