It is neither taller nor as important, as Malbork Castle, but still is one of the most interesting tourist sites in the town. The construction of the water-supply tower on Słowiański Sq. was undertaken by the “Windschild & Langelott KG” company. The tank can hold up to 500 cubic metres of water. A curiosity is the uniquely-interesting mechanism of the clock. The structure is a protected historic site, which found reflection in the late 20th-Century work on the revitalisation of the tourist attractiveness of this unique technological monument.
