As of 1774, he became the owner of the Wejherowo-Rzucewo property. In 1865, a detached bell tower was also erected on the church square, while in the 1990s, a new church was built to partly replace the old one. In order to allow the construction of the new structure, in 1994, the aisle was disassembled, and several years afterwards, the remainder of the historical church was handed over to private hands. The new owners decided to reconstruct the temple, but in a completely different location. This new location was Lizaki in the Kościerzyna District.

You can also find sepulchral crosses from the 19th century in a cemetery near the church.

The church in Tyłowo was a frame construction made of pine and oak wood, with brick infill. The same style was preserved in the rebuilt church in Lizaki.

The church’s furnishings include all original pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries taken over together with the church’s structural elements. The monumental ceiling, with its painted ornamentation, as well as the church’s pulpit, are also worth your visit.
