On the site of the present-day church, a cemetery was found with box graves of the Pomeranian people from the early Iron Age. The church has a presbytery in a pentagonal apse, enforced with four stepped buttresses, with two annexes. Placed by the western wall, the tower is built on a quadrilateral plan, with a portal topped with an ogival reveal with a mansard window visible over the wooden door and topped with a pointed, octagonal roof.
