Their architectural diversity in the facades made of colourful, glazed brick, present a vast array of ornaments boasting historical origins. On Mikołaja Reja Street there are buildings influenced in terms of form and decor by Art Nouveau. The Tenement House No. 26, erected in 1906, is a pure example of Art Nouveau architecture. Complementary to the exquisite front elevation is the gable with smooth cut, featuring an oval window and ornamentation in the form of a stylised basket full of flowers, and the construction date. Another, newer type of Art Nouveau is typified by the neighbouring Tenement House, No. 27. Its Art-Nouveau character is expressed in features like the emphasis on vertical elements, the tri-axis and four-storey facade of flat and linear qualities, and a smooth topping-out. At 16 Armii Krajowej Street you can find a tenement house conforming to the form of a Neoclassical palace, erected after the fire of 1918 destroyed the former residence (today, it houses a branch of the Municipal Public Library). Its distinguishing element is a low lookout tower rising above the roof surface from the west. The interiors have preserved some interesting stained-glass windows (i.a. with a stylised Lębork crest), a historic staircase, and a woodblock ceiling in one of the library rooms with an adult book collection.
Buildings on Staromiejska Street, at 26 and 27 Reja Street and 16 Armii Krajowej (the Municipal Public Library Branch), and on Pokoju Street.
