Its shoreline equals 4725 metres, and it has an average depth of 7.8 metres. Despite not being a large lake, it is suitable for recreational sailing and kayaking. The village of Chmielno, for many years, has been the tourist centre of the Kartuzy District, and it is a great place to rest. You can find here many leisure centres, private apartments and water-equipment rental agencies. Białe Lake is a noted stop along the route of the famous “Kółko Raduńskie” kayaking trail.
