The construction of water plant took less than a year as it was created on a dry land. Radunia river flew the old bed, and after the construction of the water power it was led through artificial channel to the turbine. During the war the plant operated without interruption, and the main equipment, turbines, generators and reducers work almost unchanged to this day.
