Built between 1925 and 1926, the power plant constitutes the lowest barrage of the river. It is said to be the favourite place of leisure for Słupsk’s residents. The storage reservoir that was created here as a result of damming the river covers an area of 78 ha and has a capacity of 1.38 million cubic metres. Due to the fact that the power station is the last of the hydrotechnical monuments before the capital of the Słupsk Land, the Town of Słupsk, a flow below 3.4 cubic metres per second is recommended. The power of the Krzynia hydroelectric plant is 860 KW.
