The landscape of the village has largely remained unchanged. The spatial layout is that of a traditional linear village with several brick houses from the early 20th Century on both sides. The local cemetery features a preserved fragment of the alley and a mediaeval ossuary from the 14th Century. Unfortunately, the gravestones once located on the cemetery have been almost entirely removed. The village boasts an early-19th-Century arcade house. It is all wooden with plastered gables and a half-timbered arcade supported on 8 columns made to resemble the Ionic style. The building is very richly decorated with architectural details. The cornices, columns, corner boards and decorative exterior doors delight every tourist visiting Bystrze.
