The South Bathhouse represents the style of Scandinavian architecture. The woodcarving decorations refer to wooden Norwegian buildings. The South Bathhouse used to be very modern. Besides the changing room, it contained a restaurant and souvenir shops. During the nineteen thirties, it acted as a shelter for the youth of Hitlerjugend. After the war, its functions changed many times. Today, it is the home of a hotel and Chinese restaurant, while the building itself has been entered onto the list of monuments. Without a doubt, this is one of the most original historical monuments not only of Sopot, but all of Pomerania.
