The tower did not survive into 20^th century. After World War II in the years 1965-1970, together with the adjoining buildings was rebuilt on the basis of 18^th and 19^th century engravings.

Today the monument is part of the buildings forming the Scout’s House . The tower was named so in honor of 19^th century Gdansk engraver J.C. Schultz, who opposed the demolition of the tower by the Prussian authorities.
