The ruins of the tower and part of adjacent defensive wall remain in good condition to this day. In the tower’s wall there are numerous portholes facilitating a wide field of fire during defensive operations.

In mid-February 2010, pursuant to the ruling of the Court of Appeals in Gdańsk, the commune handed over the tower to the heirs of the Trenks-Kranz family, who renovated the building after the War.
