The neo-gothic structure reminds you of a medieval fortress, surrounded with a beautiful park, where you can find numerous trees – natural monuments.

There is an alley leading to the castle, with very old linden trees, which – according to legend – were planted by King John III Sobieski himself. The neo-gothic appearance, created in 1840 by the architect Friedrich Stüler, recalls the former owners – the von Below family. After World War II, the owners of the castle changed frequently, bringing it to the brink of ruin. Its fortunes did not change until 1994. The castle is currently home to a hotel and restaurant-cafe. This is a perfect place for people with a creative imagination, for thinkers. Its mysterious beauty enchants everyone. Formerly a comfortable, aristocratic residence, today, it is a comfortably-furnished hotel, which provides peace, recreation and good working conditions for its guests from all around the world. The atmosphere of times gone by is beneficial to evenings next to the fireplace in the hunting house, the tasting of exquisite wines in the stylish winery, or the banquets at the fireplace. The unique taste of the meals attracts Sunday dinner visits or the organisation of truly royal feasts. The fans of active recreation in nature take a liking to the horseback rides on the picturesque beach nestled into the park full of old trees or on foot or cycle trips in the linden alley of King John III Sobieski. The tourists’ visits are made more attractive by the Turkish baths, weight room, massage parlour and tennis courts. The guests can enjoy the comfortably-equipped rooms, which include the Royal Apartment and the Newlywed Suite.
